Masquerade....

This is probably my favorite song/part in the entire movie/play. I love how beautiful the costumes are and the song is just so upbeat. But as you listen to it, you realize that even though the music is upbeat, the lyrics are kind of eerie.

 Masquerade! Paper faces on parade. Masquerade! Hide your face so the world will never find you.

Such a Phan

Let's get something straight.....I absolutely love The Phantom of the Opera. To me, its just possibly the best musical. I have a big soft spot for Love Triangles. They're my favorites. Phantom also is just so beautiful. The music, costumes, story, characters, they're all just brilliant. I know most people don't, but I love the 2004 movie! It's really the best version I've ever seen. Though, I really like the 25th anniversary concert. And I know a lot of people don't like him as the Phantom, but I absolutely adore Gerard Butler. He's such a good singer. Not the best, but he wasn't bad for someone who has never been classically trained. He was superb. Emmy Rossum is so amazing! She is seriously one of the best singers I've ever heard. And Patrick Wilson... *sigh* my favorite Raoul! Well, now you know my Phantom likes. Hope you enjoy my blog. Basically, I'll be posting pictures from or about or related to Phantom.
